Master Bedroom Remodel

We've been in our home for almost 7 years and it took about 6 years to update our master bedroom. We're not quite done but it's now one of my favorite rooms in the house!

What is your favorite room in your home? We sleep so well now that we added blackout window treatments. We call them "Vegas" shades. Ha!

In the past we have had dark paint on the walls and darker furniture. This time around we chose to have a lighter room. It's now so bright and cheery!

Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie

These are the main places we got everything for the room. We became members of Restoration Hardware because we purchase a lot from them and it has saved us quite a bit of money. I did find some amazing look-a-likes at Pottery Barn! Our lamps, ceiling lights and a few other things are from there as well. I've linked it all here or you can click on the photos.

At the end of the post you'll see "before" photos. We're so happy with the outcome but we still have to rip out the carpet and put wood floors. That's going to be a big task but it will be worth it. We just have to figure out what finish/ color to choose.

Our couch in the sitting area also needs to be replaced. I like the style but we bought it a long time ago from Wayfair and it's fading. We'll choose a lighter color to go with the rest of the furniture.

My favorite piece in the room..... the sandblasted Italian Carrara marble table with forged brass.
